Greenville's Main Street has a literal waterfall — Falls Park on the Reedy, with a suspension bridge over it. The downtown revival is one of the most successful in the South: walkable, full of restaurants, and anchored by a park that would be the envy of cities five times its size. The Swamp Rabbit Trail is 22 miles of free greenway. Walk the Liberty Bridge over the falls, then stroll Main Street for dinner. That's the Greenville move and it costs nothing until you sit down to eat.
