Naper Settlement is a 12-acre outdoor history museum, the DuPage Children's Museum is one of the best in the suburbs, and the restaurant and brewery scene keeps growing without the city prices. Centennial Beach is a former limestone quarry with a sand beach, zero-depth entry, and deep water with diving boards. $15 for non-residents, way better than any pool.
