The host starts taking names at 5pm for dinner; expect a 1-3 hour wait on weekends. Entrees $28-45, apps $18-28. The insalata verde, carciofi, and any pasta are all correct. The garden is beautiful in summer. Budget $60-90/person with wine.

Tiny, intimate, Tuscan. Moved to Bleecker Street in 2023. Rita Sodi's pasta and meat dishes are stunningly simple -- the tortelli burro e salvia (butter and sage) is iconic. Entrees $32-55. Reservations on Resy, book 2-4 weeks ahead. Budget $70-100/person with wine. The kind of place where the person across the table looks at you differently because you brought them here.
